Operations Excellence Program Manager, Amazon Flex At Amazon we are building a world‑class last‑mile operation, significantly complemented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems that allow delivery partners to onboard, schedule delivery times, guide them through their deliveries with in‑app mapping and navigation, and more. We are seeking an analytical, innovative, hands‑on, and customer‑obsessed Operations Excellence Program Manager to help establish Amazon Flex as the preferred provider, build our network of Delivery Partners and ensure that we are offering them the support needed to deliver on our customer promise. The successful applicant will drive improvements to the end‑to‑end driver experience, optimize in‑station operations, develop mechanisms to listen to driver feedback, and translate that feedback into tangible action. Key job responsibilities: Ownership of key driver experience workstreams, including in‑station experience and driver feedback mechanisms. Manage and coordinate large, complicated projects with multiple stakeholders including Product, Technology, Marketing, Legal, PR and Operations. Conduct deep‑dive analysis alongside presenting corrective actions for weekly and monthly business reviews with senior stakeholders. Work with Business Intelligence teams to create robust reporting mechanisms in order to maximize operational visibility. A day in the life: As an Operations Excellence Program Manager, you will start your day by reviewing key performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement. You might collaborate with the technology team to refine our navigation system, then meet with stakeholders to discuss project progress. In the afternoon, you could dive into data analysis to uncover insights that will shape future initiatives. About the team: We’re a close‑knit, Australia‑based team spanning Field Operations, Operations Excellence, and Driver Experience functions. We’re passionate about scaling and delivering best practices for our revolutionary last‑mile program. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. 3+ years defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics. 3+ years managing stakeholders in cross‑functional projects. Advanced level knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and SQL. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years driving end‑to‑end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
