Operational Excellence Manager, Amazon Logistics Amazon is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager for its last‑mile delivery business. The role reports to the Regional ACES Manager and focuses on driving process excellence within delivery station operations. The position is based at a delivery station in Sydney, NSW, and will require travel within Australia and working across non‑traditional shift patterns (night and weekend). Description An exciting new role has become available for a Operational Excellence Manager to join the ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence Systems) team. You will drive process excellence within our Amazon Last Mile Delivery business, contributing to the optimisation of Delivery Station operations, providing teams with knowledge and tools to improve performance. You will develop effective communication plans, support change processes, and contribute to network standardisation through best‑practice sharing. You will own transport to the delivery station and manage day‑to‑day station operations during peak times. Key Job Responsibilities Act as primary contact for station management regarding process improvements and benchmarking, working with station management and stakeholders. Monitor logistics and delivery success through performance indicators and devise action plans to achieve benchmark rates. Lead change processes and support deployment of Process Standard implementations and upgrades. Conduct audit initiatives and support data‑driven action planning. Deliver day‑to‑day station management during peak periods, providing leadership to Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants and Delivery Service Providers, and managing external agency relationships. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 3+ years’ experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics. 1+ year of cross‑functional experience working with tech and non‑tech teams. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA, data links). Intermediate experience with SQL (queries, sub‑queries, aggregation, data modification). Preferred Qualifications Experience with Lean or Six Sigma analytical techniques. Experience with data analytical systems such as Excel, Access, SQL or other data management tools.
