About the Role Greenwood Bronte is seeking a passionate and experienced Cook to lead our newly renovated, open‑plan kitchen located at the heart of our centre. You will run the kitchen, preparing nutritious, seasonal meals for up to 83 children each day. Key Responsibilities Plan and prepare menu items within our nutritional guidelines. Manage kitchen operations, including budgeting, stock ordering and control. Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with relevant Food Safety regulations. Maintain high quality standards and offer menu flexibility to showcase creativity. Work Monday to Friday – no evenings or weekends. Qualifications & Experience A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role. Current Working with Children’s Check and First Aid. Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate. Experience with dietary and allergy‑safe requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a team player.
