About the Opportunity The Survey and Quote (S&Q) Coordinator is responsible for the preparation, coordination and delivery of contracts that support TCEs and S&Qs for the Austal ISS business unit. This role ensures all required documentation is accurate, complete and aligned with organisational standards enabling effective project planning, commercial decision-making and successful customer outcomes. Responsibilities Establish and maintain relationships across all contracts and programs with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely development of Contracts (S&Qs) including all required artefacts ensuring they are accurate and complete. Prepare presentations to support contract approvals in line with the Austal delegation framework. Manage the preparation of Contracts (S&Qs) to ensure timely and complete delivery. Prepare Contracts (S&Qs) for the ISS business unit and specific allocated projects that provide the best advantage to Austal while meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Ensure all elements have been considered including but not limited to Engineering Services, Maintenance Services and Supply Support Services. Identify improvement opportunities that support capability enhancement and broader ISS business unit efficiencies to be realised. Conduct analysis of IFS / CMMS / P6 data to support the technical and financial closure of projects. Undertake investigations required to ensure the accurate and timely closure of contracted annual TCEs and S&Qs. Identify commercial and financial risks associated with the scope of the Contract (S&Q) and ensure they are captured and managed in accordance with the Austal risk framework. Ensure the database is maintained to accurately reflect status at all times. You’ll Need Essential: Ability to gain Baseline Clearance. Certificate IV in Contract Administration and/or demonstrable experience in a similar discipline. Strong time‑management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively, meet tight deadlines and oversee multiple tasks or project staff. Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across all internal and external levels. Advanced competency in the Microsoft Office suite with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience in estimating, quoting or contract administration. Results‑driven with proven ability to deliver consistent high‑quality output. Proficient in IFS or a similar ERP system. Desirable: Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
