We’re proud to remain family‑owned — not one of the big corporates — and we do our part in “keeping the big boys honest.” About the Role Are you an experienced Accounts professional looking for a stable role in a friendly, fast‑paced environment? We’re seeking a motivated Accounts / Administration Officer to join our team and provide high‑quality support across accounts, customer service, and general office administration. In this role, you will play an important part in keeping our operations running smoothly through accurate data entry, efficient accounts processing, and professional communication with our customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pmBreak: 1‑hour lunch What You’ll Be Doing Process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions, including data entry and invoice matching. Complete daily banking tasks, including bank reconciliations and payment allocations. Assist with customer account maintenance, including updating details, notes, and documentation. Prepare and issue statements, credits, and account reminders as required. Support month‑end processes, including reconciliations and reporting. Provide administrative support to branch staff, managers, and head office teams. Maintain accurate filing systems for accounts, administration, and compliance records. Control purchase orders against supplier invoices and liaise with suppliers to resolve queries. Prepare required documents, reports, and correspondence. Maintain office supplies and coordinate general office administration tasks. Supporting the smooth running of daily operations and assisting where needed. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. You will bring: Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounts administration, bookkeeping, or office administration. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience in accounting/ERP systems. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong time management and organisational skills. Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. Problem‑solving ability and a team‑focused approach.
