About the Opportunity Our Micromine Australia team is seeking a Junior Geologist to work in a Technical Presales opportunity, to support and grow our geological software business. Working closely with our business development team, you will play a pivotal role in the solution-selling process, delivering high-impact technical demonstrations, supporting tenders, and ensuring customer success during onboarding and implementation. This is a strategic, customer-facing role that will give you the opportunity to work with industry-leading technology and influence how our clients explore and model their geological data. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Partnering with business development managers to identify, develop, and close opportunities. Delivering technical demonstrations and input into proposals and tenders. Leading software evaluations and proof-of-concept builds. Supporting customer success during implementation and training. Assisting with campaign events, conferences, and promotions. Contributing to product development through feedback and regional testing. About You You are a passionate geologist with a technical background and a drive to deliver value to customers. You’re confident presenting technical solutions and enjoy helping others solve geological problems. Your experience and attributes should include: A recognised tertiary qualification in earth sciences. A few years of experience in an exploration setting. Exposure to Micromine Origin (at university or in a professional setting) Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. A passion for technology and continuous improvement. Pre-sales or technical consulting experience is highly desirable. Experience across Gold would be desirable.
