Senior Platform Engineer Commonwealth Bank About the Team Collections Excellence is uplifting CommBank’s Collections business to be simpler for our people and better for customers, by consolidating aged technology onto a single strategic platform and modernising processes, controls, and data. The program is re‑platforming Collections onto Experian Power Curve Collections (PCC) across CBA and Bankwest products, reducing swivel‑chair activities, improving compliance, and enabling more personalised, outcomes‑based strategies for customers experiencing financial stress. Do Work That Matters Developing business and technical requirements for people, process, and technology changes. Leading the ongoing enhancement and definition of the new platform and associated processes. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across credit risk, collections, engineering, and architecture. Providing advice and defining rules and configurations for the platform. Analysing systems, processes, and applications to recommend enhancements and development. Key Responsibilities Designing, developing, testing, and deploying PCC modifications and enhancements. Analysis of business requirements, systems and processes to suggest development opportunities and enhancements. Conducting investigations and resolving incidents, including analysing database queries and assessing performance. Developing test automation frameworks using tools like Playwright, JMeter and Blazemeter. Enhancing and optimising CI/CD pipeline processes. Qualifications Expertise in Experian PowerCurve Collections v2.4. Development experience in SQL, Java, XML, Groovy, JavaScript. Exposure to Cloud and AI technologies is desirable. Prior experience with Australian Collections systems is an advantage. Experience with Automation Frameworks is desirable. Understanding of Integration Technologies is desirable.
