Business Sales Trainee

We’re looking for a motivated and outgoing individual to join a growing freight and logistics team as a Junior Sales Trainee starting in January 2026. In this role, you’ll learn how to build strong client relationships, assist with quoting and follow-ups, and gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of the sales process - from phone and email outreach to in-person client meetings. You’ll be supported by an experienced team that’s ready to mentor you every step of the way, helping you develop your confidence, communication skills, and business knowledge. As part of your traineeship, you’ll complete a Certificate III in Business online, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn and graduate with skills that open doors across the business world. What you’ll be doing: Learning how to confidently engage with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings Assisting the sales team to collect client information and prepare quotes Following up with potential clients and booking meetings Working closely with the Procurement & Commercial team to ensure accurate quotes Reporting weekly on meetings, opportunities, and outcomes Learning to use CRM software to track and manage sales activities What we’re looking for: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn Strong communication and organisation skills Confidence to talk to new people and build relationships An interest in business, logistics, or sales Someone ready to take initiative and grow into a professional sales role Must be a Australian or NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident Earn a Certificate III in Business (12 months) while gaining hands‑on experience Be mentored by experienced professionals in a fast‑growing industry Supportive team environment with real career growth opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
