About the role An exciting opportunity has opened up for a motivated and detail-oriented Integrity Investigator. Reporting to the Association Development & Member Protection Manager, this role is critical in upholding the integrity and ethical standards that support the safe, fair, and inclusive operation of basketball across Western Australia. As the Integrity Investigator, you will be responsible for managing cases allocated under the National Integrity Framework (NIF), encompassing areas such as education, prevention, monitoring, intelligence, and investigations. You will play a key role in ensuring that integrity matters are addressed promptly, fairly, and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Manage sensitive and confidential information and intelligence in a centralised complaint management system through BWA. Lead and assist the management of investigations and hearings initiated under the National Integrity Framework. Provide integrity advice and guidance to stakeholders, including the state basketball associations and participants. Monitor and enforce compliance with integrity requirements to safeguard the sport. We’re looking for a fair-minded and analytical professional to help uphold the integrity and values of Basketball WA. You’ll bring strong investigative skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism. Confident in handling complex cases under the National Integrity Framework, you’ll take a proactive approach to education, prevention, monitoring, and investigations to ensure safe and inclusive participation across the basketball community.
