Join the Civmec Team This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Trades Assistant to join our team working on the FMG Green Iron project located at Christmas Creek. Civmec has been awarded the delivery of the Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation packages of work that kicked off in June 2025 with project completion scheduled for Mid-2026. The project offers a 3:1 roster with transport to and from site provided from Perth Airport. Responsibilities Reporting to the Leading Hand / Supervisor your key responsibilities are : Perform spotting duties as required Operate a variety of tools and machines including forklifts, EWP’s, grinders, power drills or other cutting and shaping tools and machines Assist with Cable Pulling and working closely with the Electrical personnel on site Assisting with the install of Cable Trays Transport tools, materials and work pieces to and from sites or workbenches Loading and delivering project materials Follow quality control systems and techniques Housekeeping Perform other general duties as required About You To be successful in the role you will possess the following : Minimum 1 year industrial experience as an Electrical Trade Assistant Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate Current Driver’s Licence Current High Risk Elevating Work Platform license Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card) Previous construction experience Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
