$ - $ p.a. + 17% Superannuation Part-time 0.8 FTE | Fixed Term until December 2026 Higher Education Officer Level 10 | $144,266 - $152,903 p.a. pro rata About the Role Working under the direction of the Professor of Health Services and Epidemiology, the Assistant Director will oversee strategic initiatives, business development, and engagement with Alliance members and external stakeholders. The incumbent will develop and implement research strategies to establish the Alliance as a critical source for governments and other stakeholders for required research and development. They will support Alliance members by identifying opportunities for research that addresses national gaps in our understanding of how to care for older people, including investigator, government or other stakeholder‑initiated research. About You With evidence managing and or establishing a Research Institute or Research Centre, you can conduct research activities, whilst managing the development of research partnerships, along with projects, teams, resourcing, and budgets within the research space. Your high‑level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, allow you to effectively build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will also be able to demonstrate: Postgraduate qualifications and relevant experience or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience and education/training. An understanding of research activities including the development and management of research partnerships, research projects, research teams, resources, and research budgets. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior executives, sharing responsibilities and contributing to organisational success. Experience driving system and process improvements, collaborating effectively with external partners to achieve optimal business results.
