We have an exciting opportunity for a Lifestyle Assistant to join the Emmy Monash team, located in Caulfield North. Reporting to the Culture and Wellbeing Manager, this role requires a fun and energetic person who will work with a wider care team to design and facilitate high quality and creative recreational lifestyle programs for our valued residents. You will be responsible for evaluating programs and promoting a holistic wellbeing approach that caters to our residents’ emotional and physical rehabilitation needs. Promote participation by delivering enriching programs tailored to individual cognitive needs. The role is offered on a permanent part-time basis. Monday to Thursday. Proven experience in aged care, preferably within a lifestyle, recreational or social program setting. Ability to work autonomously and within a team. Demonstrates cultural awareness and excels at fostering strong connections with residents. Working experience in a dementia setting is highly desirable. Sound interpersonal and customer service skills. Good computer literacy using MS Office and Outlook. Provide evidence of ability to work legally in Australia. Must also provide a current National Police Check. First Aid Certificate (highly desirable). Working with children check (if required).
