About the team The Pharmacy team at Peter Mac plays a key role in supporting high quality patient care, incorporating all facets of innovative clinical pharmacy practice. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the pharmacy team provides a comprehensive patient‑focused service for all Peter Mac patients, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of all treatments. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and collaboration, the team contributes directly to advancing cancer treatment through research and improving outcomes - keeping patient care at the centre of everything we do. About the role As a Grade 4 Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of training and credentialing programs, focusing on improving and supporting the educational goals of the inpatient service area and wider department. Working closely with the inpatient wards team, including the senior clinical pharmacist for inpatient services and the clinical pharmacy trainer, you will enjoy working in a busy, team‑based environment when striving towards providing excellent patient care. Develop, implement, maintain and apply a high standard of training, assessment and verifying methods Ensure Pharmacy Technicians have the necessary skills, knowledge and capability to undertake both core and extended roles Maintain accurate patient and dispensing records Uphold excellence in pharmacy standards and practice Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, regulations, policies, and quality standards About you You will be someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Evidence of Certificate IV in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) or equivalent Well‑developed organisation and prioritisation skills. Previous experience in oncology pharmacy practice is highly desirable.
