Executive Principal Representative, Housing and Public Works Department of Housing & Public Works QLD – Brisbane QLD Full time, Contract, Part time, Casual/Temporary The Executive Principal Representative, Delivery position, within Major Projects, Public Works, requires exemplary professional leadership and executive management capabilities. It requires an ability to lead and manage the delivery of complex capital works programs and projects that deliver positive economic and social outcomes and provide solutions for government projects from feasibility and business case through to final project delivery. The Executive Principal Representative, Delivery provides high level leadership and specialist contract management advice, working collaboratively with executive management along with multiple stakeholders, internal and external to government. We are seeking an Executive Principal Representative, Delivery to join our Major Projects team within Public Works. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage high-profile government projects from feasibility and business case development through to successful delivery. What you'll do: Provide strategic leadership and expert contract management advice for complex capital works programs and projects. Oversee the efficient use of financial and human resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across government, industry, and the community to ensure collaboration and successful project outcomes. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the delivery of building and construction services across government. Lead workforce planning, resource management, and the professional development of staff to foster a high-performing and inclusive workplace culture. Provide strategic advice to senior executives on project risks, policies, and strategies to ensure effective decision-making. You will have a proven track record in delivering large-scale, complex infrastructure projects and programs, along with the ability to foster collaboration across diverse stakeholders. Your expertise in contract management, workforce planning, and strategic decision-making will be critical to your success in this role.
