About the Role We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term basis (maternity leave replacement). This position reports to the Head of Quality and Compliance and plays a key role in supporting our commitment to high standards of quality, safety, governance, and resident experience. Key Responsibilities Monitor compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, legislation, and organisational policies. Manage the internal audit program and support corrective actions with GMs and Care Managers. Provide clinical, including oversight of clinical risk, documentation, and practice consistency. Oversee incident, complaint, and feedback processes, ensuring timely investigation and trend analysis. Prepare accurate, audit-ready documentation, quality reports, and dashboards. Lead accreditation readiness: evidence preparation, gap analysis, staff education, and preparedness. Promote a strong quality and safety culture across all sites. Support risk management and improvement planning. Essential Criteria Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and no conditions or restrictions. Full working rights in Australia. Minimum 3 years' experience in quality, clinical governance or compliance roles within aged care or health industry. Strong understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation processes, and best practice. Strong clinical assessment, care planning, and infection control skills. Well developed leadership and staff management skills. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Proficient in data reporting tools and quality/incident systems. Compassionate and empathetic care approach. Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work across multiple sites and head office as required. Commitment to supporting and upholding the organisation’s Vision and Mission. Desired Criteria Qualification in Clinical Governance or Quality & Safety. Experience in accreditation preparation and support. Multi-site support experience.
