Role Description This is a full-time inspections (forensics) and design engineer role located in Mitcham, VIC, with flexibility for some remote work. As an engineer, you will be responsible for inspecting, analysing, evaluating, and providing design solutions for various residential structures, including some light commercial. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure that project deadlines and budgets are met and that the projects are delivered to the highest quality standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering 2+ years of experience in residential engineering design, construction, and maintenance Experience with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, and ETABS Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Excellent knowledge of local, state, and national building codes and standards Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Excellent time-management and organizational skills Current registration as a Professional Engineer in the state of Victoria is a plus Experience with multi-disciplinary projects and coordination with other professionals such as architects, contractors, and building owners is a plus Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Civil Engineering Salary: A$140,000.00 – A$150,000.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
