About The Role As a Cleaner you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, staff and visitors. You will report to the Principal or a nominated delegate and contribute to the efficient operation of the school by delivering high‑quality cleaning services. Key Responsibilities Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices and common areas, including windows, furniture and equipment. Maintaining toilet facilities, sick bays and other hygiene‑sensitive areas. Performing floor maintenance, including sweeping, vacuuming, buffing and polishing. Managing rubbish disposal, graffiti removal and general upkeep of outdoor areas. Ensuring security by locking/unlocking buildings and managing security systems as required. About You Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication skills for liaising with school staff and reporting issues. Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
