Production of meals, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality. Maintain high standards of health and safety. Adhere to hygiene standards and follow proper food handling practices. Ensure stock is labelled, rotated, and used to minimise food wastage. Adhere to the food safety program and ensure appropriate records are kept. Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience as a cook/chef. Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery. Knowledge of safe food handling procedures as outlined in HACCP guidelines. Ability to effectively manage time and resources. Ability to follow procedures and maintain systems. Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. Experience working in aged care would be an advantage. Strong knowledge of dietary needs & food safety regulations. Understanding of allergies & cooking to specific requirements.
