Due to on-going growth wecurrently have a vacancy for a enthusiastic and driven Senior Accountant tojoin SMSF team in our Private Business Family Advisory division. The Role The successful candidate will play an important role inattending to compliance services to our clients, for both the Private Clientsand Wealth Management teams, and supporting the SMSF advisers on advisoryservices and other SMSF-based projects. This is a great opportunity to gainexposure to both the accounting and wealth management aspects of our business. Key Responsibilities: You will maintain strong working relationships both with ourclients and with your colleagues across the wider Private Business FamilyAdvisory team, providing consultative advice and support to internaland external stakeholders on a range of SMSF matters including: Assistand support our offshore team with the preparation of SMSF FinancialStatements, Annual Returns, and Member’s Statements including TrusteeMinutes and Section ******* notices ReviewingFinancial Reports and assisting with queries on client work. Dataentry and processing within BGL360 Preparationand administration of SMSF BAS, IAS and PAYG Payment Summaries Liaisewith external auditors and other bodies such as the ATO and ASIC Managesown workflow and can prioritise effectively to meet deadlines. Supportto our administration team with SMSF related documentation includingDeeds, Pension commencement minutes, SMSF establishments and ATO relateddocuments. Providesupport to the wider team with Superannuation queries and elevate any SIScompliance issues to assigned Manager / Client Director / Partner Who we are after Here are the key qualifications, skills andpersonal attributes we’re looking for. We are particularly looking for: CAqualified (or similar relevant qualification) Ideally have 3-4 years’ experience within business services for an SMSF clients High-levelwritten and spoken communication skills with strong attention to detail inyour work. Abilityto Problem Solve and provide solutions to the Leadership team as required Aconfident manner and the ability to interface with clients and earn theirrespect Abilityto interpret financial data and respond to queries where required. Experiencein SMSF Software. We use BGL 360 however Class Super experience is alsodesirable. Abilityto multitask and respond to internal and external queries in a timelymanner.
