About The Role We are seeking an experienced SMSF Accountant to join our team in Dandenong. This role is integral to the success of our Superannuation team, as you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting and advisory services to our Self‑Managed Super Fund (SMSF) clients. What You'll Be Doing Prepare and lodge annual SMSF financial statements and tax returns. Provide strategic advice to SMSF trustees on investment, estate planning and retirement planning matters. Assist with the establishment and wind‑up of SMSFs. Liaise with auditors, financial planners and other professional advisors to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. Attend to client queries and provide excellent customer service. Stay up‑to‑date with changes in SMSF legislation and best practices. What We're Looking For CA or CPA qualification in Accounting or a related field. Minimum 3 years' experience in SMSF accounting and advisory services. Excellent technical knowledge of SMSF legislation, including the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act and the Income Tax Assessment Act. Strong communication and client‑relationship skills. Proficient in the use of SMSF administration software such as BGL and other accounting tools. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up‑to‑date with industry changes.
