We’re currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mechanical Fitter and/or Diesel Fitter to join our team in our Gympie Workshop . This hands-on role suits someone with strong mechanical aptitude, trade experience, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Key Responsibilities Mechanical fitting and assembly of new plant, equipment, and prime mover trailers. Maintenance and repairs on fixed and mobile machinery in the workshop and on-site. Assisting with installations, shutdowns, and on-site servicing as required. Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults. Ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Keeping the workshop and tools in a clean, safe condition. What We’re Looking For Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter and/or Diesel Fitter) Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role Strong mechanical skills and problem‑solving ability Experience in industrial or heavy fabrication environments (advantageous) High attention to detail and commitment to WHS procedures Ability to work independently and within a team environment Forklift license and white card (desirable) Why Work With Us Stable, full-time position with variety in daily tasks.
