About the Role: An exciting opportunity exists for a strategic and experienced Head of Civil Infrastructure to lead the operational performance of the company’s civil construction division. This executive-level position oversees project delivery, commercial outcomes, team leadership, and client relationships across a portfolio valued at over $200M. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a stable and capable team of five direct reports, including three Construction Managers, an Operations Manager, and an Administrative Support Officer. The role also plays a key part in business development, strategic planning, and expanding the company’s delivery capability. Key duties and responsibilities: Provide high-level leadership across all project delivery functions and business units. Champion a strong safety culture and lead by example across all operations. Drive the financial performance of civil contracts, ensuring delivery to time, budget, and quality standards. Build and maintain senior-level relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders. Ensure timely and accurate reporting, forecasting, and contract management. Review tenders, pricing, and risk assessments to maximise commercial outcomes. Drive innovation and continuous improvement across operational functions. Manage the effective utilisation of plant, equipment, and workforce across multiple projects. About You Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior civil construction management role. Proven experience managing land development or civil infrastructure projects at scale. Exceptional commercial acumen, with experience managing large-scale project portfolios within the civil construction industry. Advanced knowledge of project planning, man-hour and machine-hour forecasting, and tender oversight. Strong leadership capability with experience guiding senior-level direct reports. Demonstrated success in driving safety, culture, and business performance. WA Driver’s Licence (or ability to obtain one upon relocation).
