Research Fellow - Neuronal stem cell biologist Job No.: Location: Parkville campus Employment Type: Full-time Duration: 1 year fixed-term appointment Remuneration: $83,280 - $113,025 pa Level A (plus 17% employer superannuation) The Opportunity The Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS) is seeking a Level A Research Fellow to join the Drug Discovery Biology theme and contribute to innovative research in neurological therapeutic development. In this research-only role, you will grow your research expertise while supporting a major, long-standing partnership between MIPS and the French pharmaceutical company Servier, focused on discovering new treatments for neurological disorders. Responsibilities Developing ex vivo neuronal and stem cell biology models Testing and evaluating new therapeutics in support of a drug discovery program Delivering high-quality, timely data to the MTDD–Servier joint project team Supporting project milestone progression and collaborating with stakeholders across MIPS, Monash University, and Servier Qualifications A doctoral qualification in stem cell biology, with experience in neurobiology or a closely related field About Monash University At Monash, work feels different.
