Our mission is to deliver high-quality products, innovative solutions, and outstanding service to our customers. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Retail Buyer to join our team. This role is responsible for sourcing, curating, and managing Cherish’s online and retail product assortment. The Buyer will ensure the brand leads in product innovation, value, and compliance across all categories. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver profitable sales outcomes, compelling product ranges, and world-class online product presentation. Key Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, including wine, Asian groceries, and everyday food products, establishing strong supplier relationships and negotiating contracts. Plan and curate product ranges across Cherish’s categories, ensuring commercially viable assortments that meet customer preferences and budget requirements. Monitor inventory levels, sales data, pricing trends, and market conditions using ERP and industry-standard systems to optimize stock availability. Forecast demand and manage stock flow by analyzing historical sales and market trends, planning replenishment cycles, and ensuring timely delivery. Coordinate purchasing strategies across both B2B and B2C channels to balance wholesale and retail stock and pricing requirements. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, minimum order quantities, and delivery conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and supply chain stability. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal bundles that drive sales growth. Prepare regular purchasing reports, inventory analyses, and supplier performance reviews to provide actionable insights for management decision-making. Requirements Proven experience as a Retail Buyer or in a similar purchasing / procurement role. Strong understanding of product trends in alcoholic beverages, Asian groceries, and FMCG categories. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills. Experience using ERP or inventory management systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams. Commercial mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions.
