About the Role We are looking for a Site Manager to oversee our new flagship hospital project in Toowoomba. The Site Manager creates an important link between the project management and site delivery activities of the Group. The site manager must ensure maximum efficiency and quality, whilst maintaining a close eye on the construction program, productivity and cost budget. The site manager works closely with the project manager, site staff, designers and senior management to achieve these objectives and is responsible for ensuring minimum risk and maximum profit on the project. You will oversee variations and scope of work control, installation management and quality, procurement, authority requirements, prefabrication, labour utilisation, record keeping and subcontractors. Criteria for this role include: Qualified in plumbing drainage and gas fitting 5 years commercial experience Tier 1 or Tier 2 project experience highly desirable Highly developed negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and management of a multi-disciplinary team in a construction environment Ability to maintain and control onsite activities Diligent in WHS and QA guidelines and regulations Experienced in Cost Control and Budgeting Proficient computer skills and industry specific software Confidence to identify and mitigate potential problems Ability to work either independently or as part of a group to achieve required outcomes We support diversity and inclusion in all our workplaces; women, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders, people with a multicultural background or a disability are strongly encouraged to apply.
