Overview Join to apply for the Personal Carer role at UnitingCare Queensland . Position details Employment Status: Permanent Part Time Location: Caboolture, Elimbah & Surrounding Areas Remuneration: $35.50 per hour + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s) + Employee discounts Responsibilities Provide care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life while spending time on the road for scheduled visits and interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes In-home personal care and daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing Provide care in accordance with each client’s individualised Care Plan Support with community-based recreational and social activities Provide transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments Qualifications Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work - Essential Experience with technology including smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc. Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies Employee Benefits Save tax and increase take-home pay by salary packaging everyday living expenses and bills (up to $15,900) and meal entertainment (up to $2,650) per annum A recognition and rewards platform with employee discounts at retailers, including holidays, health insurance, annual awards, wellbeing and employee assistance programs 12 weeks paid parental leave and 2 weeks paid partner leave (after 6 months service), in addition to government schemes Diversity and inclusive leave, including paid gender affirmation leave and cultural leave options (paid and unpaid) for culturally significant events Career development opportunities with a trusted community and residential care provider to challenge yourself and grow About the employer BlueCare is proudly part of the UnitingCare Family.
