About the role: Seeking Permanent Dispensary Technician / Pharmacy Assistant (4 days/week) to join our friendly and supportive team at Narrandera Pharmacy. Experience preferred but not essential, we are willing to invest in and train the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our passionate team, whether you are looking for a change of career, just starting out or seeking a great work / life balance. Permanent part‑time position (30 hours week) with an occasional Saturday (4 hours) on a rotating roster (business hours M‑F 9am - 5:30pm, Sat 9am - 1pm). Award rates + super + penalty rates. Key Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision. Manage dispensary stock levels, restocking, and expiry date checks. Provide exceptional customer service with strong awareness of customer needs. Assist customers with general queries and product information. Keep the dispensary clean, organized, and compliant with pharmacy standards. Support pharmacists and other team members in daily operations. Identify add‑on sales opportunities and support in‑store promotions. Assist the packing technician to prepare Dose Administration Aid packed medications via the packing robot. Attend to general housekeeping duties. Delivery of medications to customers and aged care facilities. A current driver's licence is preferred for medication delivery duties. Point of Sale and cash handling. What We're Looking For: Friendly, enthusiastic, dedicated work ethic and a positive can‑do attitude. Willingness to develop / maintain a strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products. Provide appropriate guidance on OTC and S2/S3 medications. Collaborate with pharmacists to support workflow and clinical service delivery. Keep the dispensary clean, tidy, and well‑organised. Availability to work minimum of one Saturday (4 hours) per month. Skills / Qualifications: Previous dispensary or pharmacy experience. S2 & S3 trained. Certificates I - IV in Community Pharmacy.
