Ambrose Construct Group is expanding in the Dubbo & Western NSW region and we’re looking for an experienced Lead Hand to support our regional operations. This hybrid role is perfect for a skilled tradesperson looking to step up. Combining hands‑on work with light supervision, make‑safe repairs, subcontractor coordination and scoping support. What you’ll be doing Carrying out minor repairs including carpentry, plastering, painting, and general maintenance. Completing make‑safe works quickly and effectively. Coordinating small‑scale repair jobs, ensuring they’re delivered safely and on time. Communicating with clients, suppliers, and trades on‑site. Supporting quoting and repair methodologies for insurance claims. Ensuring all work meets Australian Standards, WHS and quality requirements. About You We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys variety day‑to‑day. You will have: Trade background - Cert III Carpentry or similar preferred. Solid hands‑on experience in maintenance or handyman repairs. Valid NSW Driver’s Licence & White Card. Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused approach. Confidence working independently across regional locations. Experience using tablets and job management systems. Knowledge of building codes and WHS requirements.
