International College of Advanced Education – Rapid Creek NT International College of Advanced Education (ICAE) is an award-winning Registered Training Organisation (RTO) based in Darwin, NT, delivering qualifications in Hospitality, Cookery, Beauty, and Remedial Massage. ICAE is the NT's largest provider of hospitality education for international students, attracting students from Australia and around the world to undertake our unique study and work programs. We currently host around 170 international students on our Darwin campus. Our suite of courses include on-campus study, and work placement programs and is a very successful training model - chances are that if you've worked in hospitality in Darwin, you've already worked with our students We are currently seeking outstanding Hospitality and Cookery professionals to join our dedicated team in Darwin. Casual, part-time and full-time positions are available. Experience in delivering training will be highly regarded, but we are more interested in your ability to enthusiastically pass on your skills and knowledge to our students. If you are passionate about your industry and are keen to develop the next generation of hospitality professionals, we'd be delighted to hear from you. Our students are all keen to learn, and enhance their careers in Australia and abroad. These roles are responsible for delivering training and assessment, and providing learning support to students. Training and assessment is delivered at our Rapid Creek campus and at student workplaces, ensuring that the students are exceptionally well prepared to enter and continue in Industry. Our working hours and conditions are family-friendly, generally 8 : 30 - 5 : 00 Monday to Friday, no public holidays, and flexibility for part-time and casual staff. Casual rates are more than $60 per hour or $300 per day, so it's a great option for professionals in industry as a second job. If you are a Chef looking to get off the pans and train the next generation of cookery professionals, this is a wonderful opportunity to join a team of committed hospitality professionals working office hours Requirements Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Essential, or be willing to obtain) Australian or international qualifications in Hospitality or Cookery must be at Certificate III level or higher (Essential) Minimum five years experience and demonstrated expertise in industry (Essential) Experience in training (Desirable) Experience in delivering Australian Nationally Recognised qualifications (Desirable) Australian Driver's Licence or be willing to obtain Live in Darwin region or willing to relocate Must have full Australian work rights Have a current Ochre Card or be willing to obtain The ability to develop a good rapport with students, and present as a friendly, professional and helpful team member is essential in this position. This role calls for someone who has a can-do attitude, is well organised and hardworking, and is keen to serve as a professional example to students. We are looking for people to start mid-January.
