We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Practitioner (VR and Non-VR) for immediate start to join our dynamic team at Flinders Avenue Surgery, located in Whyalla Stuart, South Australia. As a General Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to our diverse patient community. This is a contract position, offering the flexibility to tailor your work arrangements to suit your needs. What you’ll be doing Working hours are from 9 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Conducting comprehensive medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients of all ages. Providing preventative care and health education to patients. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. Participating in professional development and continuing education activities. Adhering to all relevant medical, legal, and ethical standards. What we’re looking for Full medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), either as a Vocationally Registered (VR) or Non-Vocationally Registered (Non-VR) General Practitioner. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a General Practice setting. Demonstrated clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of medical conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, colleagues, and the broader healthcare team. Strong organisational and time management skills.
