Your part in our St Stephens team As part of our Surgical Ward, you will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals and their families applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You will deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills. This position plays a key role in assisting with facilitating patient discharges. You will work in collaboration with acute ward staff to support timely discharge from the ward and play an integral role in assisting with patient flow and bed access. What makes a difference for us? Minimum of 12 months’ experience in an acute care / hospital setting Diploma of nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration Full Working Rights in Australia Commitment to patient safety and quality improvements Desire for ongoing professional development Availability to work across a 24 / 7 fortnightly rotating roster Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment What makes a difference for you?
