Volvo Cars Five Dock is part of Australia's largest prestige and luxury automotive retail group employing approximately 2000 people across 75 businesses. The dealership is recruiting for an apprentice who is motivated and has the desire to become a highly skilled motor technician with one of the world's most iconic prestige car brands - Volvo The role will be based in Five Dock and will suit someone that wants to develop an elite level of technical skills, gain exposure to customer service and basic administrative responsibilities whilst being part of a high-performing team. Under appropriate supervision, some responsibilities of an apprentice role include: Receive vehicles into the service centre for repair Complete repairs in accordance with repair order Record on the repair order the starting and finishing times for each job completed Report to the service advisor any other defects or failures on the vehicle which may be identified during the repairs Basic customer service functions including welcoming customers on arrival to the service centre and assisting service advisors as appropriate. To become an apprentice with Volvo Cars Five Dock, we are looking for the following: A passion for high performance cars and the desire to become a highly skilled and professional motor mechanic Clear communication skills with a focus on customer service Strong sense of self-motivation and enthusiasm with a high work ethic and 'can do' attitude Professional presentation always Honesty, trustworthiness, and punctuality Current Driver’s License/Provisional Drivers Licence preferred.
