Senior Safety Advisor

About the Role We are looking for a hands‑on, people‑focused Senior Safety Advisor who enjoys being out on site, working side‑by‑side with crews, and helping build a supportive and engaged safety culture. Work on interesting commercial construction projects including fit‑outs, refurbishments and new builds with a dedicated team of tradespeople and a supportive leadership team. This role is all about presence, connection and practical support. You'll be our boots on the ground from a safety perspective. Working closely with the Senior HSE Manager, site managers, forepersons, contractors and clients to guide safe work, promote positive behaviours and build strong relationships with our teams and clients every day. What You’ll Be Doing Be a visible, approachable and trusted safety presence on site Support daily compliance, inspections, risk assessments and contractor management Lead toolbox talks, coach teams and help embed safe behaviours Use HammerTech for reporting while maintaining strong face‑to‑face engagement Participate in occasional night‑shift safety oversight (e.g., crane lifts, noise/dust monitoring) Work collaboratively with a safety team that values teamwork over hierarchy About You You’re practical, personable and confident engaging with people from the workshop floor to the client meeting room. You enjoy solving problems with teams—not policing them. Previous safety experience in a construction environment is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
