House Supervisor (VIC - Various Locations) The House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support to individuals living with disabilities. This role will involve supervising and mentoring a team of support workers, ensuring the safety and well‑being of participants, and implementing person‑centred active support practices. The House Supervisor reports to a Hearth Support Services Relationship Manager, who oversees the ongoing management of the relationship between the participant and Hearth Support Services. The role may involve: Oversee the daily operations of the house, ensuring smooth delivery of services in accordance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements. Manage shift schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels to meet the individual support needs of the participant. Maintain a safe and clean‑living environment, ensuring all safety and compliance standards are met. Monitor and assess the well‑being of participants, reporting any concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals, line manager and family members when required. Ensure that each participant’s individual support plan is implemented effectively, including personal care, health, and social needs. Promote and facilitate independence, personal choice, and community participation for all participants. Ensure that staff members follow policies, procedures, and best practices while delivering support services. Act as a role model for staff in terms of professional conduct, and commitment to quality service delivery. Requirements Certificate IV in Disability or higher, or relevant experience in the disability sector. (Desirable) Previous experience in supporting individuals with a disability (Essential) Strong understanding of the disability and community services sector (Essential) Transferable life/work skills, combined with a compassionate and supportive approach (Desirable) A genuine passion for the wellbeing and inclusion of people with disabilities. Demonstrates strong commitment and responsibility while respecting Hearth’s participants and their families Employee Working with Children Check Current First Aid and CPR certification Valid Driver’s License NDIS Worker Screening Check International Police Check (if applicable) Must meet all visa requirements for employment in Australia.
