Manager Resolution Planning

Financial Services partner with all areas of CommBank to specialist advice, support and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy and investor relations. This role sits within Group Treasury, which forms part of the Financial Services division and is responsible for the Group’s funding and liquidity management, capital forecasting and execution, and asset and liability management. See yourself in our team As Manager, Resolution Planning, you will work closely with the Head of Balance Sheet Resilience and Decision Support to develop, implement and embed CBA’s Resolution Plan and strategy. This involves setting up and running the Resolution Planning project, which will engage with senior stakeholders across the Group to facilitate analysis and changes across the organisation as required from APRA’s CPS900. The work you perform will ensure the Group can be resolved in an orderly manner where needed and address ongoing regulatory requirements. This will involve working with the regulators and the business to develop a Resolution Plan and embedding it within the Group’s frameworks. The role will require you to manage an ongoing project with regulatory deliverables, build strong relationships across the Group and problem-solve with a knowledge of regulatory frameworks to address new regulatory requirements for the Group. Key duties will include Supports the Resolution Planning program including project governance ensuring timely delivery of commitments and addressing regulatory/compliance obligations; Act as an SME for CPS900 (Resolution Planning), supporting the Group in meeting compliance obligations; Coordinate and collect information from key stakeholders across the Group required for the preparation of the Resolution Plan; Prepare materials to support the development of the Resolution Plan, including drafting documents and/or presentations to senior stakeholders; Keep abreast of regulation changes and industry best practices; Support relevant regulatory authorities in preparing resolution plans for the Group; Drive changes required to meet CPS900 requirements, including pre-positioning changes and embedding review and maintenance of resolution plan; We're interested in hearing from people who value Proven track record in engaging and partnering with Business Unit leaders and cross-functional teams; Demonstrated self-starter that can deliver within a fast-paced and changing environment; Ability to apply critical thinking to propose solutions to new and different challenges; Experience managing large scale projects, co-ordinating complex deliverables to meet the needs of senior stakeholders; Strong knowledge of controls and assurance frameworks and embedding these within an organisation; Well-developed written and verbal communication skills for advising and influencing internal stakeholders; Sound knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (e.g. CPS900, CPS190) and ability to interpret and implement standards and frameworks and how these interact with each other; Knowledge of capital and liquidity management ideal; Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, including Powerpoint; Knowledge of banking products and systems (preferred); Tertiary Qualifications – hold a tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or an equivalent business-related discipline.
