The Art Gallery attracts around 2 million visitors annually and runs Australia’s largest education program with over 90,000 student and teacher visits per year. About the Role Build strategic marketing plans and execute marketing and business development activities to support the Venue Management department at the Art Gallery. Oversee the Venue and Event operations for internal and commercial activities and support the team with event sales management. What Technical/Soft Skills you require Marketing related tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated knowledge, understanding and considerable experience in developing marketing strategy, planning, development and implementation of marketing activities and campaigns. Venue operations experience with demonstrated understanding and experience in managing contractors. Strong organisational, project and budget management skills to manage complex and time pressured workflows. Significant experience in event coordination for major corporate clients and understanding the markets. RSA certificate. Ability to work evenings, early mornings and weekends as required.
