Our client is a global leader in business process outsourcing (BPO) and Corporate services.They are a trusted outsourcing partner to the world's leading brands. This is an exciting opportunity to pioneer their Australian start up based out of Melbourne.You will be well supported by the global arm which has an envious reputation for world leading technology and processes.They are a highly regarded supplier to Top Tier global companies in Banking. Finance, Telco, Health and EducationWe are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Collections to oversee the strategic and operational management from start up through to sustained growth and development of the client base.The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a deep understanding of collection management practices and a passion for cultural growth.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Management:

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Collections Department.Oversee the acquisition, documentation, conservation, and accessibility of collections.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of collections professionals, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement long-term strategies for collection growth, preservation, and public engagement.Ensure adherence to national and international standards and best practices in collections management.

Establish and maintain relationships with donors, collectors, cultural institutions, and other key stakeholders.Work closely with other departments to integrate collections into exhibitions, educational programs, and digital projects.Budget & Resource Management:

Develop and manage the Collections Department budget.Identify and secure funding opportunities to support collection initiatives and projects.

Research & Advocacy:

Promote research and scholarship related to the collections.Advocate for the significance and impact of the collections within the institution and to the broader community.
