The Technology Operations Branch is responsible for the delivery and operation of technology services to Canberra Health Services and Health and Community Services Directorate, our patients, stakeholders, and partners. We are also together with outsourced service providers responsible for managing the Health Enclave which hosts digital health systems in the ACT. Our services cater to all types of health-related technology including patient monitoring equipment, clinical business applications and critical communications and infrastructure. Under the limited direction of the Director, Critical Systems and Infrastructure Hub you will: Provide support services for critical ICT systems and infrastructure, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of enhancements and upgrades in compliance with ACT Government standards to ensure comprehensive support and lifecycle management of critical ICT systems and infrastructure. Actively engage in troubleshooting, managing complex and sensitive issues, and providing expert advice on supported ICT systems and infrastructure. Oversee the management of a small team and foster effective communication and collaboration with vendors, service providers, end-users, and technical staff. Lead and execute project tasks related to critical ICT systems and infrastructure, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with organizational goals. Undertake other duties appropriate to this level of classification that contribute to the Directorate. This position does involve direct supervision of 4 staff. Eligibility/Other Requirements: This role requires you to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV1 Security Clearance. To obtain this, you must be an Australian citizen. If you are not successful in obtaining a security clearance, your employment in the role will not commence. If you have already commenced, your employment will be terminated. A C class driver’s license is essential due to the nature of the role. This position does not require a pre‑employment medical check.
