Eligibility Open to Everyone Position Overview The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State‑owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community. The Director, Contract and Commercial Advisory is responsible for delivering high‑level commercial advice, guidance and decision making on relevant contract management matters. The role has oversight of transport infrastructure contracts throughout South Australia, as well as nominated strategic non‑infrastructure contracts. Key Responsibilities Delivering high‑level commercial advice, guidance and decision making on relevant contract management matters and maintaining oversight of transport infrastructure contracts throughout South Australia, as well as nominated strategic non‑infrastructure contracts. Qualifications We are seeking leaders with excellent people skills who have demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing clear advice and practical solutions on complex commercial issues, who have extensive experience overseeing contract administration and governance and demonstrated experience negotiating complex commercial matters. Your proven track record of leading and managing a diverse team of specialist consultants and advisers and your ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders on major complex infrastructure programmes will be pivotal to the success of this role.
