Job DescriptionWe are seeking individuals with a professional background inRehabilitation Counselling interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector and being part of our tight knit team in Albury, NSW. In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.We are after an all-rounder to join our team, supporting clients in both returning to their original employment and exploring new vocational opportunities.This role offers a broad and varied experience across the spectrum of occupational rehabilitation and would be suited to someone already in the industry who’s looking to expand their skillset, or, anyone new to Occupational Rehab and keen to get out of everything it has to offerYour duties will include:Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks ); Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes; Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs; Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals; Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs; Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes; Conduct a range of assessments across Initial Assessments, Worksite Assessments & Vocational Assessments to support someone in their return to health, work & life goals Conduct relevant injury prevention and injury management consultancy services such as group mental health training and general health and wellbeing related education sessions. Also, in future, have the opportunity to be trained in the delivery of complex assessments and services such as Psychological Functional Capacity Evaluations and Facilitated Discussions We offer a hands-on approach to learning and developing your career.
