We are currently seeking Certificate III Educators to join our team at Central Coast Council. Rewrite the future with us We are a temporary part‑time role (16 hrs per week) until December 2026 at our Kariong Centre. Responsibilities Deliver quality education and care programmes for children in the community. Contribute to a safe and supportive environment for children and families. Be a positive contributor to the team and deliver high‑quality education and care in accordance with the National Quality Framework and CCC’s policies and procedures. Use your knowledge and experience to develop and implement customised educational programmes in line with the EYLF learning outcomes and the individual needs and interests of children. Support the team, assist with problem‑solving, and offer ideas to keep activities fresh and relevant. Build relationships with children, families and carers to make them feel welcome and connected. Take a responsible and professional approach to supervision of children and their overall wellbeing. Complete relevant documentation and administration associated with the position. Qualifications & Skills Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management – HLTAID012 or equivalent). Current Working with Children Check and evidence of necessary vaccinations. Previous experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care environment. Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and early childhood practices. What We Offer Competitive salary from $66,000 – $76,500 per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus 12% superannuation. Temporary part‑time position at Kariong Centre. Mandatory vaccination series (Hepatitis A/B, Tetanus, MMR, Varicella) and CMV screening. Eligibility list may be used to fill other vacancies. Fitness Passports, wellbeing leave (twice a year), and an Employee Assistance Program.
