We are a small friendly practice based on the outskirts of Tamworth town centre. We have a patient population of approximately 2400, due to expanding patient list we are seeking a part time experienced ANP to enhance the services within the practice. Main duties of the job You will work collaboratively with the GP Partners and other Practice staff to provide expert care for our patients. You will support a same day and routine patient list, providing high quality care and support with a range of long term illnesses and new diagnosis. About us The team at Riverside Surgery consists of two GP Partners, an ANP , a HCA, Practice manager and the administration team. Job responsibilities Clinically examine and assess patient needs including diagnosis and treatment. Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions. Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for patients at risk of developing a long-term condition. Administer both child and adult vaccinations including baby imms and travel vaccinations. Prescribe and review medications in line with the current guidance. Wound dressing including compression bandaging. Family planning including pill checks and Depo injections. Cytology. ECGs. Request pathology services and at times provide phlebotomy duties. Maintain accurate clinical records. This list is not exhaustive and there may be a requirement to carry out other tasks in line with the nurse practitioner role. Qualifications RGN with current NMC pin Masters Degree in Nursing Experience working as an ANP in General Practice Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
