Based at Riverview (Ipswich), the successful candidate will have a natural inclination to be a great leader, who thrives on driving a culture of continuous improvement and supporting management to ensure a safe and smooth daily business operation. This position will be supporting the afternoon shift team and your working hours will be 4pm to 12am; Monday to Friday. Your key responsibilities will include: Monitoring movement to meet operational demands and schedules Coordinating with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely delivery and pick up schedules Promoting a safe, positive work environment whilst maintaining alignment with company policies Utilising company assets and contractors in a cost-effective manner Managing customer relations Ensuring all legislative requirements are met About You Previous experience in transport, logistics, refrigerated freight movements and allocations Knowledge of transport regulations including Fatigue, Chain of Responsibility and Mass and Maintenance under NHVR Proficient user or transport systems and MS Office Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment Demonstrated ability to achieve overall objectives of a business Strong verbal and written communication skills Energetic, passionate and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on system improvement Flexibility to take calls as required on weekends Current Drivers Licence Interested?
