About the Role Key role in the sales division team – giving expert advice on meat to our customers Ability to engage with others personably and build high-quality relationships with customers Ability to devise creative solutions that have a value add for our customers At Moco Food Services we specialise in sharing our love of good food by providing restaurants, cafés, pubs, and bars with the finest quality meat products in Southeast QLD. To that end, we need the skills and experience of a meat specialist who really knows their stuff. Our customers will rely on you, as you will be the expert they look to for help in sourcing the right cuts and portions for their dishes. You need to be able to tell, for example a TDR from a Cube Roll and how they should go on a menu to work effectively in this role. You may have been a professional chef with excellent knowledge of, and a passion for protein, a butcher, or even a meat retailer who has been off the tools for a while and have developed some sales experience. You also must be comfortable doing impromptu and formal presentations to customers to demonstrate how you can solve their needs. Skills & Experience Professional level understanding of all types of meat, cuts, and protein Customer service experience in hospitality, retail, or similar industry. Be confident and comfortable with making calls and site drops to new clients. Ability to work autonomously through making sales calls and visits. Strong technological skills with computer systems, emails and excel. Understand hospitality client needs, wants and requirements. Passionate about food and making meaningful relationships.
