Troocoo are partnering with QLD Government to recruit a highly capable, creative AO6 Senior Digital Marketing Officer for an initial 6-month contract to join a high performing Marketing and Creative team. Reporting to the Manager, Brand and Client Experience, this role will lead the delivery of website and digital marketing initiatives that promote the Department’s services, programs and priorities. You’ll champion the online experience improvement program and evolve digital channels to meet the needs of clients, partners and global audiences. Responsibilities Manage and optimise the Department’s website using Kentico 13 and other enterprise CMS platforms. Deliver integrated digital marketing campaigns across web, social and email. Apply SEO, accessibility (WCAG 2.1) and UX best practice to enhance discoverability and user experience. Maintain high-quality, accurate, compliant digital content. Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to plan, publish and monitor digital content. Measure, analyse and report on channel performance, offering insights for improvement. Stay informed on digital trends and champion best‑practice approaches. Build effective, long‑term relationships across the Department to enable impactful digital engagement. Qualifications Technical skills Proven experience managing enterprise‑level websites. Strong understanding of SEO, Google Analytics and digital reporting. Experience writing digital content. Professional attributes Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capability. Ability to translate business needs into effective digital solutions. Confident communicator, able to work across technical and non‑technical teams. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Understanding of Queensland Government style, digital standards and compliance requirements. Key capabilities Alignment with organisational goals when developing digital strategies. Commitment to achieving results through effective digital tools and tactics. Ability to support productive working relationships and provide strategic advice. Integrity, initiative and strong stakeholder collaboration. On offer is a contract role through to 30 June 2026, with great hourly rates of $79–$84 per hour plus super, and the opportunity to do meaningful work that contributes to Queensland’s economic growth.
