As a Broker Associate/Para‑Broker, you will be the engine room of the office, directly supporting our brokers and ensuring a seamless, compliant, and exceptional experience for every client. End‑to‑End Application Processing: Prepare, submit, and manage loan applications from initial assessment through to settlement, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Compliance Assurance: Rigorously ensure all necessary compliance documentation (KYC, privacy, loan specifics) is collected, verified, and recorded. Client Communication: Act as a professional liaison between the broker, the client, and the lender/solicitor, providing proactive updates on loan status. Reporting: Track and report on application status, settlement pipeline, and broker performance metrics. Critical System Usage: You must have 18+ months of experience in a similar role. Preferred candidates will have proven working knowledge of the Salestrekker CRM system. File Organization: Maintain accurate, organized, and complete digital client files. Database Integrity: Ensure client and loan data is accurately entered and updated in our systems. Pre‑submission preparation: Assist in initial client needs analysis, conduct preliminary serviceability calculations, and prepare loan comparison documents. Post‑Settlement Care: Facilitate post‑settlement tasks, including generating welcome emails and setting up annual review reminders. General Office Administration: Assist with ad‑hoc administrative tasks to maintain the efficiency of the Mulgrave office. Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent, relevant experience as a Broker Assistant, Loan Processor, or Para‑Broker in the mortgage industry. Attention to Detail: You possess an eagle eye for detail and compliance is your non‑negotiable standard. Attitude: You are a proactive problem‑solver with a 'can‑do' attitude, ready to manage a high‑volume workload independently. Location: Available to work full‑time from our Mulgrave office. Work Rights: Must hold Australian permanent resident status or equivalent work rights. Qualifications: Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or equivalent qualification (preferred).
