About the role Overview As a Barista/Cafe All Rounder at Simple Coffee House , you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and crafting high-quality coffee and beverages, as well as some basic food preparation for our guests. This casual position is based in our Southport, QLD 4215 location and will require you to be a flexible and adaptable team player. This role is ready to fill for an immediate start with 25-40 hours a week. What you'll be doing Preparing and serving a variety of coffee and specialty drinks, including coffee, matcha, smoothies and more Providing friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a positive cafe experience Efficiently operating coffee machines and other cafe equipment Maintaining a clean and organised work area Assisting with general cafe duties such as food preparation, cashiering and restocking Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards What we're looking for Proven experience as a barista or in a similar cafe/hospitality role An early riser. Shifts start from 5:30am Strong customer service and communication skills Passion for quality coffee and cafe culture Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Flexible and adaptable with a positive, team-oriented attitude Knowledge of cafe equipment operation and maintenance Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain) What we offer At Simple Coffee House, we're passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
