General Practitioner (VR GP) – Central Coast, north of Sydney NSW (DPA position) A GP and Dermatology opportunity in a mixed billing practice with DPA close to Sydney that offers flexible hours upfront payments for long-term GPs Modern and comfortable surroundings with a large supportive team Relocation assistance up to $40,000 DPA location just north of Sydney Pay Rate: 70% of billings and onitial guarantee of $160 p/h The Practice This brand new, purpose-built medical centre will allow you to focus on family healthcare, giving you access to occupational health and allied health together with minor procedures. Join a supportive team of ten experienced family doctors, an on-site podiatrist, a practice manager and an assistant practice manager that will help you transition into your new role. The practice provides a wide range of services including chronic disease management, mental health, child health, diabetes risk assessment and skin cancer checks. You will have the support of seven highly trained nurses. With an initial hourly guarantee of $160 p/h for the first three months, you will have a secure income whilst establishing yourself at the practice. You will benefit from flexible hours between the clinic’s opening hours, 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12pm on Saturday mornings. The practice is also offering upfront payments to GPs who sign on a fixed term agreement (minimum 12 months), which will be calculated based on the number of hours/ week and length of the contract. After the initial settling in period, the practice group can offer Medical Director opportunities as well enabling you to progress in your GP career development. The Location The area is a 1hr 10-minute drive north from Sydney CBD and around 90 minutes south from Newcastle, a gateway to the Central Coast’s pristine beaches, waterways and national parks. The practice is located within a shopping centre surrounded by several schools and local facilities for families. Enjoy superb seafood, endless water views and plenty of charm in numerous cafes and restaurants such as Young Barons, Ela Mesa and Costa Centrale. Your weekends will be filled with outdoor adventures as you explore Tommos loop, Rocky Ponds and hike to the top of Staples lookout for fabulous views over Mount Wondabyne. There is always something to see and do at Central Coast Watch kayakers paddle by, pelicans along the wharf and fishing boats on the horizon. DPA position and visa sponsorship are available. AHPRA ESP and RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates (substantially comparable) as well as GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
