The Company Beetroot is representing a world leading events company who specialise in creating dynamic, immersive experiences to captivate audiences around the globe. This team of creatives specialise in merging art, design and technology to create multi‑sensory worlds where performance, sound, motion and spatial storytelling converge. We are seeking an ambitious Creative Director to join the team with a background in design and direction. This role reports into the Head of Creative and works closely with the Executive Team playing a pivotal role in concept development, design execution, and creative leadership across all projects. You will set the standard for creativity, ensuring excellence and innovation in every deliverable. In this role you will lead the creation, design and conceptualisation of projects from internal and pitch presentations to immersive creative content. You will develop and communicate compelling creative visions using a range of media: visual layouts, illustration, motion design, storyboards, mood boards, and presentations. You will oversee the creative direction and execution of the companies content strategy across short‑form and long‑form formats. Experience in this is a must. You will manage, mentor and inspire creative teams to deliver exceptional work on time and within budget. This team is based on the fringe of Sydney CBD. Most of the team work onsite daily however hybrid is an option with minimum three days required onsite. From time to time the Creative Director will lead client presentations which may require international travel. This company has a global client base so flexibility and cultural awareness is key. Key Skills At least 5 years + in creative direction, content strategy or production leadership. Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling ability with experience in long‑form content is a must. Able to articulate and develop ideas from concept to completion. Proven ability to develop and deliver high impact creative concepts across multiple formats. Strong creative instincts. Musical sensibility is essential in visual storytelling. Excellent communication skills and a confident presenter. Great organisational and time management skills. Highly proficient across the Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Cinema 4D or Unreal Engine. Full working rights for Australia. Sponsorship may be considered for a standout candidate.
