Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative (Casual) This is a casual, part‑time opportunity offering 20‑25 hours per week, starting in January, operating on a hybrid model of 2 shifts in the office (one required in the Sydney CBD, with the other based in the Parramatta hub) and 3 shifts working from home. You'll join a supportive, collaborative environment with ongoing training and development, where strong customer service skills and a positive attitude are highly valued. What You’ll Do As a Contact Centre Agent, you’ll provide high‑quality support to banking customers across phone, email, and online chat, responding to enquiries about products and services, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service across multiple channels with empathy and professionalism Assist customers with banking products and services, addressing queries promptly Resolve complaints and issues effectively, following up to ensure satisfaction Maintain accurate records while adhering to compliance and confidentiality standards Collaborate with colleagues to support team goals and share insights Participate in training and development to enhance skills and product knowledge Adapt to changes in processes, systems, or customer needs Uphold the organisation’s values by treating every customer with respect and care What You Bring Proven experience in customer‑facing roles, demonstrating patience, empathy, and clear communication Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining quality service Comfortable using digital tools such as call centre software, email platforms, and online chat systems Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset Attention to detail and commitment to compliance standards Eagerness to learn and adapt to new procedures or technologies Flexibility with shift patterns and work arrangements Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
